Who uses Clipbot
Clipbot is a personal tool run by the owner of the Tooltipped and Recut Daily YouTube channels. Only the owner signs in to it. It has no other users and no sign-up.
Google user data it accesses
- Permission to upload videos and edit their details on the owner's YouTube channels (YouTube Data API).
- View, watch time and audience retention statistics for those channels' videos (YouTube Analytics API).
How that data is used
Uploads are used only to publish the owner's clips. Statistics are used only to decide what to clip and how to edit future clips, and to send the owner a weekly summary. Clipbot does not access any other person's data.
Where it is stored
The sign-in token and statistics are kept on the owner's computer and in the owner's private Cloudflare account, which runs scheduled posting. Statistics may be summarised by an AI model to write the weekly report; no personal data about viewers is collected or sent, because YouTube's statistics are anonymous totals.
Sharing
Clipbot does not sell, share or transfer Google user data to anyone. Clipbot's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
Removing access
Access can be revoked at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions. Stored statistics are deleted when the owner stops using Clipbot.
